As much as I'd like you to believe my children spend their days playing their musical instruments harmoniously together like it appears in these pictures, nothing could be further from the truth! (Okay, maybe not "nothing", but, it
is a rare day!)
It just happened to be a nice day out one day last week, and both Caleb and Camryn were feeling particularly benevolent towards one another, so they decided to practice their instruments together and see what duets they could play. I enjoyed it so much, I had to take a few pictures.
One day, when we get a video camera, I can post video of things like this- what fun that will be! You'll get much more enjoyment out of it, I'm sure... but for now, I hope the pictures will do.
(P.S. Caleb passed down some plain white t-shirts to Camryn, and I've noticed she seems to wear them all the time when she's at home! This isn't the first time I've posted pictures of her and she's in one of those darned white t-shirts. Bleh! She really
does own some cute, girl clothes! ;)

Oh Jen! You do realize that one morning you are going to get out of bed and find Kelly in a pint sized white tshirt, sitting alongside C & C, don't you?! I can't count the number of times I've heard you tell Caleb to put on ANYTHING besides one of those white tshirts - and now Cam, too? Maybe you should keep them in a lock box, and the kids have to pay to get one out. OH! Can you say "adoption fundraising idea"??
Love,
Jen
Just to make sure - you do realize I'm going to run out and buy Kelly some white tshirts today, don't you?
Love,
Jen
Ha ha ha ha ha ha! YOU STINKER! You better NOT!!!
LOVE YOU!!!!!
Maybe Camryn could tie dye them! ha ha! Caleb and Camryn are growing up so fast! What gorgeous children! This duo is #1 on my Top 10 list of favorites! BTW, what songs were they playing?!
Oh yeah, good question Nanna! I couldn't remember, so I just asked Caleb. He said they were playing Beethoven's Ninth.
They ARE a handsome duo, aren't they? (If I don't say so myself! ;)
Hey Deb!
I can't help but think of Jack whenever I look at my kids in their white t-shirts! He always will be "THE ORIGINAL WHITE T-SHIRT MAN"!
LOL
Love,
Jen
Wow! I am so touched that Jack has passed along one of our core values!! :) Jack told me that someday I will understand the importance of a plain white t-shirt. I am still waiting! I think it is great that Camryn is wearing Caleb's passed down t-shirts. Hmmmmm.....do you think it might be because she idolizes and respects her brother and wants to be like him?! I think it is a compliment to Caleb! And I must agree with Nanna in Texas, they are gorgeous children. Loved the pics. Take care and we will work on passing along some of our other core values to you all! LOL!!!
Love and hugs,
Deb
